Biography

Charles Mitchell has been licensed to practice law since 1980. Beginning his career as a prosecutor for Dallas County which he left in 1989 to enter private practice. Prior to law school he attended Texas Christian University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He grew up in Fort Worth and attended public schools there.
 
Charles Mitchell handles a variety of civil litigation matters. He has experience with the litigation of insurance defense files, involving third party defense of personal injury, wrongful death, professional malpractice, product liability, arson, fraudulent claims, bad faith cases and subrogation cases. He performs coverage analysis and provides carriers with opinions regarding coverage and claims handling on commercial, homeowners, boiler and machinery, Nursing Home Care, inland marine, cargo, casualty, garage, builders risk, fidelity and aviation policies. Mr. Mitchell has trial and litigation experience with personal injury, wrongful death, employment liability, professional liability, products liability, construction defects, premises defects, dram shop liability, motor vehicle accidents, construction losses, transportation losses and aircraft accidents, family law, probate and criminal law. He also represents companies in administrative hearings with OSHA, EEOC and TxDOT.
