Alex Mazero is an associate attorney experienced in insurance defense litigation, franchise and distribution law, intellectual property law, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution matters. Further, within the context of insurance defense, he has experience in personal injury law, trucking accidents, construction law, breach of contract claims, property disputes, and products liability. Before law school, he worked for an investment group implementing anti-theft, forensic, and transparency protocols for business databases. He also interned at a real estate law firm participating in litigation preparation for construction and real estate companies, while assisting in contract negotiations. Furthermore, Alex was a summer associate at a big law firm focusing on business transactional and litigation matters while attending SMU Dedman School of Law. He later worked for the International Franchise Association where he conducted due diligence on federal legislation and attended policy-making hearings to advise and debrief on legal issues pertinent to the franchise business model and other small business issues. Notably, he has published multiple papers focusing on the understanding of blockchain technology, global supply chain networks, and the role franchise business models play in local and global economies.
